Born and raised in Germany, René began dancing Latin in 2009 in Oldenburg and soon joined the renowned Grün-Gold-Club Bremen under coach Roberto Albanese. As a standout youth competitor, he reached multiple national and international finals and quickly became one of Germany’s top dancers.

Later part of Germany’s National Elite Sports Team, he represented his country internationally before switching to compete for Singapore, where he became Singaporean National Champion, a finalist at major events, and winner of the 2021 GOC Amateur Latin Rising Stars. In 2022, he placed in the Top 20 at the World Championships.

Seeking artistic growth, René moved to London for a year to train with leading industry figures and compete at prestigious global events. There, he met Juline Carrel, and together they chose to represent Germany. After years of competitive success, they shifted their focus to show dance to explore new creative expression, which led them to joining Burn The Floor.

For René, dance is about connection, passion, and storytelling. On the Burn the Floor stage, he brings all his heart, rhythm, and fire to life.
