Arturs was born in Riga, Latvia. His dancing journey started at the age of 5 and he has never let his passion for dance fade. 

Arturs is a 4 times Latvian Ten Dance Champion and was a finalist of many International Ten Dane competitions including the prestigious Junior Blackpool Festival. Later, Arturs specialised in Latin American and became 3 times Latvian Vice-Champion, and was a regular finalist on the international competition scene. 

In 2017 Artur graduated university as a “dance and rhythmic” teacher, where he learned different dancing styles and developed his skills as dancer and dance teacher. This time gave Arturs the opportunity to look at dancing from different perspectives and develop himself as an artist.  

Arturs is able to live his dream to perform and show himself on stage and is proud to have the opportunity to be part of the “Burn the Floor” family.
